This is the eighth year that Leo’s has held the Veterans Day event.
At 11 a.m. local veterans will proceed from the Stillwater American Legion Post 48 through downtown Stillwater ending at the corner of Main and Chestnut streets near Leo’s.
Stillwater police will halt traffic while the Color Guard performs their traditional ceremony including a bugler performing “Taps,” a short prayer and a 21-gun salute.
Leo’s Grill and Malt Shop owner Cory Buettner’s late father Leo Buettner was a Veteran of World War II. The restaurant is named in memory of him.
Leo’s is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
