Time Lapse Video of St. Croix River Crossing Shows 2 Years of Construction Progress

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has released a time lapse video showing construction of the St. Croix River Crossing from December 2013 to November 2015.

The river deck construction of the St. Croix River Crossing  has shut down for the winter as the temperatures are too cold for crews to place additional segments, according to MnDOT. The epoxy, a strong adhesive used to join segments, cannot be applied when the temperature is below 28 degrees.
