Stomp out Military Suicide

May is Mental Health Month and is the time to bring awareness and discussion to the 20+ men and women serving in our armed forces who are completing suicide each and every day.

Through their mission, Operation:23 to 0, a local, hands on nonprofit organization, hopes to raise awareness to this epidemic and offer resources to those fighting. Their mission of being available 24/7, bringing awareness, and hosting events such as Ruck walks throughout the Midwest, Operatio

n 23 to 0 hopes to grow their mission and with the help of local businesses and families throughout the community and are holding their first benefit concert.

The 4onthefloor is a Minneapolis/St. Paul based band known for their stomping vibrant sounds and are playing this soon to be sold out show on May 17, 2018 in connection with Ziggy’s Restaurant in downtown Stillwater to help fund Operation:23 to 0’s mission.

Paul Barber from Ziggy’s Restaurant will be creating a specialty food & drink menu that evening with items named for a few Minnesota soldiers, many who have lost their battle within just the past 18 months.

The families of the soldiers, PFC Joel Costa, PV Nicole Bernham, and PFC Max Haslip and others will be donating to the cause for each item ordered in their child’s honor, all in the hopes of bringing more awareness.

Tickets are available for $20 online, 25 at the door. 100% of ticket proceeds go directly to Operation 23 to 0.
