Nicole Hause, a senior at Stillwater Area High School, is one of 12 women in the nation who will be competing in the 2016 XGames skateboarding competition this summer.
Nicole will skip her graduation ceremony to participate in the XGames June 2-5 in Austin, Texas.
Nicole picked up her first skateboard when she was 10 years old, and has been hooked on riding ever since, performing well from the start of her career in skateboarding competitions in Minnesota, Wisconsin and California.
For the past few years, Nicole has been riding with skateboarding legends Cara Beth Burnside and Mimi Knoop — and skated in sessions with Tony Hawk, Mitchie Brusco, Bob Burnquist, Steve Badillo and other pro skaters.
In addition to skating, Nicole also acts and competes as a snowboarder.
Nicole has starred in commercials for Subway, and was part of a video campaign to promote Walt Disney World.
She recently traveled to Melmo, Sweden where she scored a third place finish among some of the best woman vert skaters in the world.
