Stillwater Community Theatre’s presentation of “Peter Pan” opens tonight at Stillwater Area High School.
More than 100 cast members will join Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael and John in the high-flying Broadway musical July 10-13.
“It’s amazing how so many different aged performers can come together in ‘Peter Pan,’ Director Haeri Tollefson said. “The kids are cute, the tunes are catchy, the cast sounds great and everyone is talented. What more could you ask for?”
There are a total of four performances: July 10, 11 and 12 at 7 p.m. and July 13 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, seniors/students are $10 and children (5 and under) are $5.
Tickets can be ordered online at stillwaterschools.org/tickets, and may be available at the door, however, seating is limited.
The performance is directed by Tollefson and based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale, “Peter Pan.”
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick Tinkerbell visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and with a sprinkle of pixie dust begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime the travelers come face to face with a tickling crocodile, a fierce Amazon tribe, a band of bungling Pirates and of course, Captain Hook.
