Stars of the Week for July 9:

Quinten Howe is the Bayport Printing House Sportsmanship Star of the Week. Quinten is enthusiastic, never loses his smile, the first to cheer his teammates on. The 10A Ponies are lucky to have him on their team!

Teri Most is the Stillwater Current Volunteer of the Week. Teri was instrumental in the planning and execution of a winning strategy for the JCs concession stand this summer.

The 10A team is our Team of the Week after gritting out a two extra-inning game to take second place in the Burnsville tournament last month.

The Dave’s Sport Shop Hitter of the Week is Grant Miller. Grant has had a tremendous month for his 13AA Black Ponies team, but in two games last week had two triples, three doubles, five RBI and scored two runs.

Jeff Johnson is this week’s Posch Builders Coach of the Week. Jeff coached his 14AA Ponies to a second place finish in the national Cheesehead Championships at the Wisconsin Dells, and his team finished a respectable 3rd Place in the regular season of the difficult Region 4 for their age group.

The Dave’s Sport Shop Hitter of the Week is Ethen Johnson. His week included a grand slam and two massive triples to lead the 10A team.

Aidan Schrader is the Stillwater Motors Player of the Week. Aidan hit a homerun, and was a phenomenal catcher last week. His nominator said he is a good teammate and is an “all around good player.”

Thank you to the coaches and parents who continue to nominate players throughout the week at Keep them coming!

We encourage everyone to support these sponsors out of appreciation for their commitment to the community.
