Stillwater Area Public Schools Expands Summer Food Service Program

Stillwater Area Public Schools is expanding the Summer Food Service Program to offer free breakfast and lunch to area children at two locations this summer.

The goal of this program is to make sure all youth in our community have access to nutritious meals while school is out for the summer.

The Summer Meals Program will run:

  • Mondays through Fridays, June 9-Aug. 19 (closed July 4) at the Stillwater Junior High School cafeteria. Breakfast will be served 7:15-8:15 a.m. and lunch from 11-12:15 p.m. for any interested children ages two to 18 years of age.
  • Mondays through Thursdays, July 11-July 28 at Andersen Elementary School in Bayport. Breakfast will be served 8-8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11a.m. -12:30 p.m. for any interested children ages two to 18 years of age.

Families will not be asked to fill out any paperwork and no names will be taken. Menus will be available online, and include both hot and cold entrees.

Meals will be served on a first come first served basis and staff will do their best to have food for all children who attend. Shoes and shirt will be required.

The Summer Food Service Program is funded by the USDA.
