St. Croix Valley’s Annual 9/11 US Flag Waving Tribute Starts at Midnight

The St. Croix Valley will once again pay tribute to those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

The valley’s annual 9/11 US Flag waving remembrance starts at midnight on Stagecoach Trail above I-94 in West Lakeland. Fire trucks will drive under the bridge at 4:30 p.m. sharp on Friday, Sept. 11.

Residents will pay tribute by gathering and waving flags for 24 hours straight. The annual tribute was started by Paul Rode, owner of Agave Kitchen in Hudson.

The Stillwater Ponies Football program and the Ponies Touchdown Club will honor Stillwater area first responders during Friday’s football game Friday against East Ridge at Pony Field.
