Highway 95 switched to single-lane traffic in each direction at the Highway 36 today, March 21.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to resume transporting segments across the road for Minnesota approach bridge deck construction, according to a MnDOT news release. The lane closures will continue through the construction season.
MnDOT hopes the St. Croix River Crossing will open to traffic in Fall 2017. The original completion date for the river crossing was late-November 2016.
