Update: Sheriff’s Office IDs Victim of Fatal Crash on Manning Avenue in Stillwater Township

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the people involved in a fatal crash Dec. 22 in Stillwater Township.

Jerry Lee Johnson, 68, of May Township was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office. Kaia Page Kroll, 20, of Forest Lake remains hospitalized in critical condition.

Details surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.

A crash in the 10000 block of Manning Avenue in Stillwater Township Monday afternoon left one person dead and another seriously injured.

First responders were called at 4:36 p.m. to the scene of a two vehicle crash, Washington County Sheriff’s Commander Brian Mueller said.  One person was pronounced dead at the scene, another was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries after being extricated from the vehicle.

There were no passengers in either vehicle.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies, Stillwater Fire and Rescue, Lakeview EMS and the Stillwater Police Department responded to the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol is on scene assisting with an ongoing investigation, Mueller said. Identification of those involved will occur after next of kin is notified.
