Robin Anthony has been named the new Executive Director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce. Anthony will start the position on Friday, April 1.
Anthony fills a 7-month vacancy in the position previously held by Todd Streeter.
She is the co-owner of PartyOnStillwater, and brings more than 25 years of experience to her new role including over 12 years working with government, 8 years as an executive manager of a global consulting firm and 5 years as a local small business owner.
“I am honored to accept this position with an organization that I truly believe in, and am excited to work together with other local organizations to collaborate and bring new opportunities to the community and our membership,” Anthony said.
Anthony, an Oak Park Heights resident, previously served as an Ambassador of the Chamber for two years, volunteered on several Chamber committees and recently served as the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors.
She currently sits on the Board for the Women’s Business Bridge, a program of the Chamber, and also serves on the Oak Park Heights Planning Commission.
“We welcome Robin’s passion, experience, and leadership to the Director position,” Chamber Board Chair Kevin Sandstrom said. “She has great event management background, as well as a clear devotion to and respect for the St. Croix Valley business community.”
The Chamber will be celebrating its 125 Year Anniversary this year. The Chamber is gearing up for its new event, the Community Showcase, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, April 10.
