The 39th Annual Rivertown Art Festival will take place June 4-5 in North Lowell Park in downtown Stillwater.
This year’s event features more than 110 fine artists, along with vendors with handcrafted items.
“We have many of the region’s best artisans in a wide variety of mediums including woodworking, photography, ceramics, pottery, textiles and metal,” Chamber Director Robin Anthony said.
This year, the Chamber is featuring new items like fused glass from Advantage Glass Design, handmade frames from Images by Lee, metal sculptures from Iron Maid Art and Wooden Jewelry from Melinda Wolff.
The festival’s marketplace will include some unique handmade items like Beer/Wine Jelly from Windy Ridge Jelly.
There will also be pottery demonstrations from Mudslinger Pottery, and wood turning top demos from Wooden Inspirations.
The Riverfront Art Festival hours are Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This Rivertown Art Festival is produced by the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, and is sponsored by the Lake Elmo Inn, Stillwater Gazette, Water Street Inn, Renewal by Andersen and the Star Tribune.
