The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce celebrated a 25 year anniversary milestone of Midtown Antiques on April 28 at their Main Street location in Stillwater.

The business was established May 1, 1991 in a small building on Main Street with only 20 dealers. In 1997, they expanded and moved to its current location, 301 South Main Street.

Midtown Antiques is under the new ownership by Julie Kranz. “I’ve always had an interest in antiques, and am enthusiastic about the future of our business and the support the Greater Stillwater Chamber is providing to help us grow.”

Midtown offers antiques & collectibles from early American to mid-20th century. Many of their dealers have been buying, repairing, cleaning and selling antiques for over 40 years. They have grown to 30,000 square feet on three levels with over 100 dealers.

Their dealers specialize in a variety of items such as: coins, vintage clothing, jewelry, glassware, primitives, furniture, art and lighting, from the civil war period through Victorian, Mission, Art Nouveau, Deco and into the modern era.

“We are excited to be the largest antique mall in the upper Midwest!” stated Kranz. “And pride ourselves in offering a wide selection of quality antiques and collectibles.”
