The St. Croix Valley Lumberjacks Special Olympics Team need Polar Plungers. Are you brave enough?
This a great fundraiser for the team and it is not too late to sign up, we plunge on Feb. 10, 2018. We will have a nice warm bus for the plungers & families leaving Stillwater to the Plunge site in Woodbury. The bus will bring everyone back to Stillwater right after you plunge (there is no parking at the plunge site other than buses).
The bus is provided by MN Central School Bus. Pick up & drop off will be in Stillwater.
Our jump time is to be determined, but normally we jump about 1 p.m. So let’s pack the bus and jump for a great cause.
Half of the money you raise goes to support the local St Croix Valley Lumberjacks Special Olympics team to pay for practice facilities, uniforms, equipment & competition fees, the other half goes to Special Olympics MN to help support over 8200 athletes.
If you can’t jump you can still click on the link below to donate to someone jumping that still needs donations, your donation is tax deductible.
If you have any questions on the plunge please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook.
If you are not brave enough to jump in the freezing water you can still join in the fun and do the Too Chicken To Plunge and raise donations also.
When the plunge team jumps, you will walk up to the hole and throw in a rubber chicken and not get wet. Just check the Too Chicken To Plunge box when you register.
This event is open to people ages 8 and up (under 18 must have a parent present & permission slip signed).
Please share this event to all of your family and friends to help us out, We need plungers!
The St Croix Valley Lumberjacks are an inner border team in the St Croix Valley area. Our athletes are from Washington County MN & Western Wisconsin (Hudson, Houlton, Somerset, New Richmond, Amery)
