Stillwater police continued their search for a missing 24-year-old woman on Sunday.

Abbey Russell, 24, was last seen at her residence — in the area of Highway 95 and Poplar Street — at about 12 a.m. on April 25. If anyone has any information, contact the Stillwater Police Department at 651-351-4900.

Extensive ground and aerial searches have been conducted since her disappearance was reported.

On Sunday, dive crews searched the St. Croix River near the Old Saw Mill Marina, just north of downtown, Sgt. Jeff Stender said. On Monday, the dive team’s focus was near the Aiple property.

There is no indication Russell is in the water, Stender said, but it’s the next step in a missing person search.

There is no evidence of foul play, according to police. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in her disappearance.

Russell is described as 5’-7”, 150 pounds, with shoulder-length brown hair and green eyes. If anyone has any information, please contact the Stillwater Police Department at 651-351-4900.
