Tune into the sights and sounds of nature and release stress through guided yoga sequences designed to improve balance, flexibility, breath awareness and muscle tone 6-7 p.m. Thursdays through Aug. 20 at the North Picnic Shelter at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.
The program is open to all levels. Dress for outdoor yoga, bring a mat and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early. In case of rain or inclement weather, class will be in the Nordic Center. Check the county website or the park office for information.
Registration is required for Outdoor Yoga; each class is $5 per person. Vehicle permits are also required. Call the Lake Elmo Park Reserve Contact Station to register at 651-430-8370.
Fall yoga will be 5:30 to 6:30 Mondays Sept. 21 through Nov. 9 indoors at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve Nordic Center.
Cozy up by the fire and observe the park reserve from the indoors. Learn poses and breathwork to de-stress, gain mental clarity, and improve strength and flexibility. Open to all levels of yoga. Dress for yoga, bring a mat and water bottle, and arrive 5 to 10 minutes early.
Registration is required. A discount Fall Yoga pass is available for $35 per person; otherwise, each individual class is $5 per person.
