The city of Stillwater is embarking on a year-long planning process to update the downtown Stillwater framework plan that will guide downtown growth and development for the next couple of decades.
The Downtown Planning Advisory Committee — made up of a group of community volunteers — is hosting an event on Thursday, June 23 aimed at getting your feedback about what the future of downtown Stillwater holds.
The event is from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at the Washington County Historic Courthouse. Members of the advisory committee will conduct several different 45-minute walking tours of downtown, followed by a workshop where community members will be asked to share their thoughts about the future of downtown.
The walking tours will begin at about 6:30 p.m. The Stillwater Trolley will shuttle participants to downtown. If there’s inclement weather, the Stillwater Trolley will drive the walking tour route.
The group will meet upstairs at the Historic Courthouse.
