Malinda Lansfeldt is coming back to Lily Lake Elementary School.
Lansfeldt announced to Lily Lake families on Wednesday, that she will return to Lily Lake Elementary as principal starting Monday, July 6.
“I am excited to be rejoining all of you at Lily Lake and consider it an honor and a privilege to serve the students, families, staff and school community,” she wrote in a letter to families. “Everyone at Lily Lake is involved, engaged and caring. They always want to do what is best for our students. The initial five years that I spent at Lily Lake were incredible and extremely rewarding. Lily Lake Elementary holds a special place in my heart and I am looking forward to returning to the school.”
Lansfeldt is taking over for Mark Drommerhausen, who accepted a principal on special assignment position to help lead Stillwater Area Public Schools bond-related projects.
Lansfeldt has been a principal at Lily Lake and Andersen elementary schools, and was most recently the executive director of Learning Services and Elementary Education.
Drommerhausen will oversee the non-construction related changes that will happen with the passage of the bond, relating to the grade re-configurations. That will include work on curriculum and staffing changes, planning for a new elementary school, boundary adjustments and other bond-related duties.
