Lakeview Hospice and Brine’s Market-Deli in Stillwater are partnering to provide hospice patients and their families a full, nutritious meal during what is a most difficult time.
Lakeview Hospice is providing the meal service to help decrease the stress of having to plan and prepare a meal when families would rather spend time with their loved ones.
“We hope this gesture helps bring our hospice families and patients a bit of comfort and convenience,” said Bre DeCorsey, Community Relations Representative for Lakeview Hospice. “We are thankful to have such a wonderful partner, such as Brine’s, to help us provide this for our community.”
One family that was a recipient of a meal wrote, “The certificate from Brine’s was much appreciated. We will remember your kindness.
Denise Plourde, Director of Lakeview Homecare & Hospice stated, “Our mission is to care, not only for our patients, but their families as well during this time of transition. Brine’s meal vouchers are just one example of the St. Croix Valley community working together to take care of its neighbors at home.”
Lakeview Hospice is also working with markets in Hudson and New Richmond, WI, to carry the voucher service throughout the entire St. Croix Valley area that it serves.
