January Children & Family Programs at the Stillwater Public Library

Kick-off the New Year with fun programs at the library! Join us for one of January’s regularly scheduled activities for children and families.

Tuesdays at 10:30 am are Toddler Storytimes. Stories, songs & fingerplays encourage the development of early literacy skills for some of our youngest visitors. Format is geared toward children 18-36 months and their caregivers. Siblings welcome.

Join us on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. for Preschool Storytime followed by “Stay and Play” for children ages 3-6 & their caregivers. Stories, songs, fingerplays and toys encourage the development of emergent literacy skills and fine motor development.

On Wednesday afternoons, stop by the library for Family Coloring Club. In addition to being fun, coloring has many benefits to child development. Coloring tools and coloring pages appropriate for children and their parents/caregivers provided. This self-paced activity will be set up in the storytime room with materials available from 3-6 p.m.

On Thursday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:30 pm, join us for LEGO® Build. You can build alone or with a friend! Bring your imagination and test your engineering prowess. Intended for Kids ages 4 and up.

These programs are free and no registration is required. For more information about these programs and other library events, call 651-275-4338 ext. 111, stop by the Public Services Desk or visit our website at www.stillwaterlibrary.org.
