Help ArtReach St. Croix Make Their Mobile Art Gallery Dream a Reality

Afton architect Anna Koosmann has worked with the ArtReach team to dream up a pull-behind trailer that can transform into mobile art spaces to “take the show on the road” throughout the lower St. Croix Valley. The Mobile Art Gallery will visit state parks, art fairs, community events and more.

ArtReach St. Croix is looking to raise about $4,000 by the end of next week to make the Mobile Art Gallery a reality. The hope is to launch the new project this fall.

“We are customizing a structure that will meet the needs of different art forms,”ArtReach’s Executive Director Heather Rutledge said. “Currently, we are pulling together our wish list of materials and in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign to raise $5000 toward building the Mobile Art Gallery.”

ArtReach has also secured grants from the St. Croix Valley Foundation and from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council. Other grants are still under review.
