Production began last month in the Twin Cities, including shoots at the Farmers’ Market in St. Paul, in Lake Minnetonka, at Como Zoo, and along East Lake Street in Minneapolis.

“Wilson” is a story by David Clowes “about a middle-aged misanthrope (Harrrelson) who seeks out his ex-wife (Dern), a scarred drug abuser, after the death of his father,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. “When he learns of a teenaged daughter, born after his divorce, he tries to force them all to join him in his last gasping stab at a family.”

The film is being directed by Craig Johnson.
