The downhill ski season has arrived in the St. Croix River Valley.
Wild Mountain in Taylors Falls now has five runs open — two chairlifts and two ropes — with a snow base of 6-30 inches.
Trollhaugen, in Dresser, Wis., also has five runs open with a snow base of 2-24 inches.
Afton Alps is making snow, and announced that it plans to open on Friday, Nov. 27. Afton will announce details about open runs and lifts by mid-week.
