Chef Shawn Smalley Break Down Jerk Chicken With a Sword on Twin Cities Live

Chef Shawn Smalley has brought plenty of national exposure to Stillwater’s food scene — and on Tuesday afternoon, our resident pirate broke out the sword on Twin Cities Live.

Smalley’s Caribbean Barbeque and Pirate Bar was featured last week on The Food Network’s show “Best. Ever.

When the Food Network sent their staff out looking for the BBQ, they came to Stillwater where they featured the “Best Reggae-Worthy Chicken, Ever.”

After being featured on The Food Network, Twin Cities Live asked Smalley to give their viewers a few tips on cooking jerk chicken.

After giving jerk chicken tips, Smalley broke out the sword (how else would a pirate slice jerk chicken?):

Smalley will be on KARE 11 on Thursday talking about his jerk chicken.

An official viewing party of “Best. Ever.” is in the works, so stayed tuned for details. If you missed the show, check it out on The Food Network on at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23.

Oh, and remember the Death Juice?
