‘Best Burger in the Valley’ Tour: The Brine Burger

For the past five years a group of downtown Stillwater restaurants has put on the “Best Burger in the Valley” contest benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. To date, the contest has raised more than $50,000.

In support of the cause, I’m on a burger tour of each of the seven restaurants in the contest–and without inserting my opinion– to tell you what you can look forward to in the coming weeks if you have a Best Burger card.

The fourth stop on Stillwater Current’s “Best Burger in the Valley” tour took me to Brine’s, where I found this:

Brine’s offers up all of the burgers on their menu for the “Best Burger” competition. The Brine Burger is made with Brine’s own fresh ground beef burger topped with Canadian Bacon, Swiss Cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms. You can also choose from their Mushroom Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, California Burger or the traditional cheeseburger.

The Best Burger in the Valley card costs $30 (value: $65), and will get you a burger at each of the participating restaurants through March. Voting ends April 15, and the winner will be announced in late-April.
